What is the condition of the hotels in Pushkar, are there any decent hotels as well because the one which I have seen near Sunset Café is a disgusting and dirty hotel.

From June to August the weather in Amritsar is quite hot quite similar to Delhi you can say. Any other months apart from the ones mentioned are a good time to go. In winters the weather gets very cold during the early mornings and at night.

I went to Shimla in early May, so can not comment on what the weather is like now, but it is defiantly cooler than Delhi weather. There maybe humidity but it only last during the afternoon peak time, mornings and evenings are pleasant. So it still is worth going there now to escape from Delhi heat.

Delhi is a very large state, and to go from one place to another it takes a lot of time because of traffic within Delhi. You need to specify where in Delhi you will be visiting or going so hotel recommendations can be given accordingly.
