One time I got really hungover on a vacation with my parents and got everybody's mood ruined for that day. Since then I control my bottle of wine intakes even if the fellow travellers get annoying.

I am sorry I did not wanted to be rude, but you should really think about before writing things such as women should not travel alone at anywhere. We should and do consider woman just as capable for traveling alone without any harm as men, and they should be too!

It really depends in the area you are going to visit. If you are in a developed, modern city then of course much more less to pay attention too, but if you are visiting an an underdeveloped area then you have to treat with as much respect as you would your own country's traditions.
If it's an unplanned one or two day trip, then water bottle, phone, charger, wallet and a scarf, also vegetables or fruit to sack on. I really like to take one day hikes around my town, spontaneously.
