Where In India Would Be The Most Ideal Location For A British Male Working In India To Live?

Well, India does not have a high cost of living, so if you're going to be making a British salary, living in India, I'd say you could live like a king just about anywhere! I think rent and utilities would be the only things you'd have to worry about being pricey. Good luck!

    Sim Cards

I would do what hellotraveler said and use Google Voice or another VoIP solution. There's plenty of Wi-Fi in Indian cities- almost everywhere you go. VoIP is also free, or some of the services are. I'm pretty sure that with Google Voice you can get it to work with your existing number, too. Good...

    What To Wear?

If you don't look like a local- and I'm taking it you won't, they'll assume you're a tourist and forgive you for not being modest, if you don't cover shoulders or legs. I doubt it would be a big deal.

    Bollywood?

Mumbai is what most would consider 'Bollywood'. It's where most of India's movies are made/produced, and you can visit sets and whatnot (for a price). Go to Mumbai if you want to go to Bollywood.

Wearing A Bikini On Goa Beaches?

I'm sure bikinis are acceptable in Goa. Like Maple said, there are plenty of videos of girls wearing bikinis there, and no repercussions seem to have been made. I think you'll be fine.

    Tips For Finding Travel Partners

I think social networks, forums, websites like this one right here, are all great ways to find a good travel partner. But I also think that a great travel partner might require a connection deeper than just travelling- like a lifelong friend, or your significant other- those could make great...

Travelling With Your Significant Other (so)

I used to love travelling with my girlfriend. Then we broke up! :'D You'll definitely want to plan some romantic aspects to vacations/adventures when travelling with your significant other- which is something you wouldn't do when travelling alone or with friends, at least I hope not. Travelling...

I Don't Know How To Say No

Oh man. I'm not sure if there is a way to let her down without, you know, letting her down. Just lay it gently, use nice words. The truth hurts, and sometimes you've gotta draw the line. Or you could try talking it out with her, perhaps she'll change, try to be a little more adventurous, if it...

Would You Travel To India With A Friend?

I would most definitely travel with a friend. I'm more of a loner in general, it's just my personality, but I have some very great friends that I wouldn't mind travelling with. They'll also help keep me out of trouble ;). It also depends largely on what one plans to do- soul searching? That's a...

    Wi-fi

In the big cities like Mumbai, or Delhi, you'll get great Wi-Fi coverage; generally places with a lot of tourism will happily serve Wi-Fi. More rural places, of course, won't have nearly as much, if any, Wi-Fi coverage. Stay in the cities and you should be fine.
