I am not far from Kolkata and previously have thought of going to Sunderbans and Gangasagar, as I am close by I thought I would go ahead with the trip. I need to know how one can reach the places and what is the easiest way. Thank you in advance members.

The drivers for the buses are experienced in driving in such areas, so you should not worry, although it may look scary. Another plus point is that it works out to be very cheap as compared to taking your own vehicle.

Taking a train would be the best option as it would work out to be cheaper. Getting a taxi would be the most expensive, for a 4 seated car an Indica would be fine which would cost you around Rs8.50 per km.
