Yes I stayed at a home stay in Hanle village (there are no hotels) for two and a half weeks. It is not a sight seeing kind of place but some where you could stay for a few days and do nothing, go for walks and get a feel of the place.

If going just for sight seeing then it does not have much apart from the monastery which has some good views from the top if you want to take a few pictures. If you are not going to stay a week or two then give it a miss, it is a long way from Leh just for sight seeing, you could use your time better.
