My wife would love to visit a silk factory. I know she wouldn't be happy if she came home without a new silk scarf. Every place we visit she has to buy herself a new scarf.
Is there a few mountain trails that I could take that would allow me to camp for one night. I'd love to hike the trails, camp and return the next day. Would this be too dangerous because of the wildlife?
This looks like a nice town to visit. I loved the huts on the beach. I think if you wanted to relax for the day this would be the ideal location. Out of the way, attractive, and a great place to have a picnic.
This is fantastic to know. If you decide to take a tour on your own do these locations have recording devices. I have visited a few places that you rent a small recorder with earphone. As you walk around and come to a place of interest the recorder tell you the history. I liked this very much...
Each country has their own way of preparing chutney. I have eaten chutney with lots of ginger and garlic. I have also had chutney with pepper corns and chili peppers. I'm curious what they put in chutney in India.
I do love chutney. I had the pleasure of eating some fresh papaya chutney a friend of my prepared. It as delicious mixed with rice and chicken. The chutney can be made hot and spice or mild. I think I liked the hot and spicy chutney better than I did the mild chutney.
I think when you take a tour to go snorkeling or diving they take you to the best locations in India. There you will always find nice clean water to swim in. If you stay on the shore and near the ocean then it might not be as easy to find. In the ocean the waves will turn up the sand and the...
I have seen some recipes that people don't use curry. I'm sure not all dishes in India contain curry. Although, I do love curry so this one won't bother me too much. But then there are people who just don't like it at all.
I have seen some photos of cities in India. In the back ground they had a McDonalds. I think you'll be fine and can find the junk food you crave. I think it is more interesting to eat the local cuisine and save the junk food for my return home.
When I travel I just like to know how I can get from the airport to my hotel. After this I just plan my days according to the weather. I think it's a good idea to buy your tickets ahead of time. I think your travel agent could help you with this.
I never stay in 5 star hotels. I like hotels off the beaten path and not so close to the city and all the noise. I find them much more friendly and enjoyable. After a day or so the people who work there know your name. They are always there to welcome you when you return.
Now that would be fun. I wonder if India has the same rules and guidelines as Thailand. When I fished in Thailand we released our catch. Nobody was allowed to take their fish home or eat it.
I know a lot of people from India and most of them speak really good English. I don't think you'll have any problems there speaking English. If the person you're dealing with doesn't speak English I'm sure that another person will and can help you out.
I think it would be a great idea to see India during the monsoon season. I know it can be a bit wet from time to time. But if you come prepared for the rain you can still have a great time. I have some great photos I took on different trips during heavy rain storms.
After reading your response I wanted to see the photos on the site. I did see the one you're talking about. There is 3 small waterfalls and 2 small boats. It seems you're taken to the waterfalls by boat. This would be amazing to sit under a waterfall or even be able to go around the back of one...
