Like many of us here I like the whole idea. I've been drinking tea for a long long time. I enjoy good tea in so many different tastes and variations. And India is the country where it mostly comes from.
By the way, travelling alone can be awesome If you have some friends/acquaintances in those places you strive to see irl. With their help you can drop your bags off and get the place to sleep for free and then do your own thing.
I consider myself an adventurous person. To me, this quality is the most important when it comes to travelling. Whether the person is my girlfriend or a male friend, she/he has to portray this quality. Otherwise, the whole idea of the trip and the trip itself seems doomed. Pretty much that's it!
Cool story, bro. Definitely, your message is right. Saving money based on personal comfort is a huge mistake. Thank you for sharing your experience and doing this in a very fascinating way. I guess, you're good at telling stories.
Oh, God! This lake looks absolutely beautiful. On the first set of pictures, of course. Sure, the pollution is such a vile thing to do. Does it still have clean spots or is it all lost as for today? I wanna believe in the first so badly.
Jani, you will definitely find it attractive. Just google some pictures. I'm already in love with this place. And I pretty much agree with you. Popular places for tourists are usually fine but visiting and telling stories about them would feel like doing something original and standoffish.
Actually, this place reminds me of the Northern part of Italy. The Lake Como, especially. So, if you're a fan of places like that, you should definitely consider visiting.
I don't know every single one but Hepatitis A and B are definitely on the list. A tip: don't try to go fast through the vacination process when you receive the whole list. It's pretty dangerous to the organism and may weaken the whole immune system.
"If you worry about saftey all your life, you will never be able to live it to the fullest"
Yep, I agree on that. Life is all about taking chances, risks and meeting new people. Safe route is a straight way to mediocrity.
"the Indian accent oftentimes startled me and we could not communicate much"
hah, that sound so familiar to me! but if it's the only disadvantage = that's ok!
Yea, I'd support the idea of travelling by public transport. But first, learn more about it. I mean the routes and stuff like that. Use navigators and maps on the spot as well. That's it!
I never saw such thing. So, someone gotta sleep exactly right next to you in a big bed. And someone will have a separate one. You may constantly change everyone's places in turn. That would be fun!
In terms of travelling and sightseeing I'd pick up New Delhi as the first destination on a list. There are so many great places, the presidential and governmetal buildings for example. They look real awesome. Waking around on of the most populous cities is kinda atmospheric too.
