A bit of an off topic question here but thought it's about Parwanoo so should post here. I have heard many going to this place, is there anything special to see or do there? I would like some more information about it.

I am driving from Punjab to Shimla and will be in Shimla with some friends for one week. I am interested in also going to Spiti, a place I have not been to before. I would like some information about driving there and especially about the Shimla To Spiti route, such as duration, road condition etc.
