I am from Ambala and will be traveling to Jaipur for a five-day break with my wife. I am looking for a 4-star hotel in Jaipur and need some help in deciding which one would be the best.
I would like the hotel to be close to the city, so we can go out for meals easily without having to travel quite a distance, but I would also like the hotel not to be in a noisy place.

Please be kind enough to provide a list of 4 star hotels in Jaipur.

    Overview

For the history buffs, the pink city of Jaipur is a fascinating destination. Bustling and vibrant, the city is also home to various palaces and forts, showcasing the architectural styles of the Mughals. It's no secret that Jaipur is quite busy though, with trendy street markets, shopping complexes, cinema halls and malls. Thus, with its blend of old world and new world attractions, the city has been one of the most visited destinations in the country. In addition, various budget, mid-range and luxury accommodation options can be found in the city. In this guide, we would highlight the best four-star hotels in Jaipur, located close to the city centre, but still able to maintain some relative quietness for a good night's rest.

    Best Four-Star Hotels in Jaipur

    1. Park Prime Hotel Jaipur - Park Prime Hotel is located about two kilometres away from the busy Mirza Ismail (MI) Road of Jaipur. It is located just a walking distance away from attractions like the Birla Planetarium and Statue Circle. The main attractions of the city like the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar are under four kilometres away from the hotel. Thus, it is still quite within the city centre, but away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas. The hotel has this white facade, a lavish reception area with an overhanging chandelier and marble flooring. Rooms are spacious and exude a more modern interior design. The wooden flooring, the huge windows and classy furnitures enhance the overall appearance of the rooms. To further avoid noise, you might want to book a room located in the higher floor, since there is a lift anyway in case you have plenty of luggage with you. There are also three dining options in the hotel, Oasis (Multi-Cuisine), Terrace Grill (Rooftop Bar) and The Pub (Chinese, Indian & Continental). Out of these three, the Terrace Grill is the best-rated one, offering a panoramic view of the city while you're dining. There's also an outdoor swimming pool, also located on the rooftop. Other facilities like conference halls, banquet halls, fitness centre and Ayurvedic centre can also be found in the hotel.

Once owned by a nobleman, the property has since then been bought and owned by the Shekhawat clan. Now, it is managed by the descendants of the said clan, which renovated the property and made it into a heritage hotel. Alsisar Haveli features a typical haveli-style of architecture, with arched entrances and a motif of white, cream and red. Other features like gazebos, in the swimming pool area, and animal statues, in the courtyard area, take one back to the era of the maharajas as well. There is a vast courtyard complete with sitting areas where one can enjoy a meal or read a good book in. The reception area is very opulent, with stained glass tall windows and royal furnitures. Rooms exude elegance, with four point teak beds, wooden furnitures, carpets and gorgeous ceiling and wall stuccos. The Raj Mahal Palace was once the retreat home of the wife of Sawai Jai Singh II, Chandra Kanwar Ranawat Ji. Fast forward to today, this property marvels in its Mughal-era style of architecture, delicately enhanced by the renovations done by the Sujan Company who acquired the property. The property is like a hidden jewel of Jaipur, enclosed in carefully maintained gardens, with interiors sparkling like a gem. Each room, there's a total of 14, was uniquely designed, with a touch of femininity. Every wall has stucco works, the floors are flanked by royal-like carpets, the furnitures are elegant and the lighting exudes royalty too. Even the restaurants are a treat for both the eyes and taste buds. The Colonnade has this sky blue stucco works that reflect light during early mornings. The 51 Shades of Pink is a mirrored dining area, which rivals the pink hued city as well. The Orient Occident is probably the most lavish and finest of all, serving delicious Rajasthani cuisine found elsewhere in the region. And finally, the Polo Bar has this turquoise blue motif that makes your dining and drinking experience even more relaxing. 8. Four Points By Sheraton Jaipur - A newer property located at the heart of Jaipur is Four Points By Sheraton. Generally, the hotel is at a prime area, so noise cannot be avoided at the lower floors, particularly the rooms facing the road. So for a more quiet and serene night's sleep, make sure you book a room that is at the upper floor, facing the other side of the hotel. Basically, Four Points By Sheraton is a mid-range hotel by the Sheraton Group of Hotels. It is very modern with a simple greyish creamy facade. The lobby area is also very simple but spacious with trendy lightings hidden in corners of the walls and ceilings. Rooms cater mostly to business travellers with its no nonsense design and functional furnitures. Some rooms have large top to bottom windows that provide a view of the city or the hilly ranges. For dining, the hotel has The Eatery, serving Asian, Western and Indian cuisines. Serving style can either be buffet or ala carte, your choice. Best Brews is the in-house bar, serving spirits, vodkas and other alcohol-based beverages along with some snacks and starters. For recreation, there's an outdoor swimming pool the guests can access. Conclusion

These are the best four-star properties in Jaipur, located close to the city centre of the city. You would be ensured a good night's rest with any of these hotels as the noises from traffic and city chaos are at the minimum when you stay at any of them. Again, make sure you book for a room away from the road side and also located on the upper floors for assurance of lesser noise. While there are other four-star properties in Jaipur, they are located away from the city centre and some of them were rated low for the noise filtering, that is, noise from the streets were still able to pass through the rooms.

Good luck and I hope this helps you!
