Where is the best place to purchase some of the beautiful needle work and bead work that I've seen come from India. What part of India should I focus on or does it matter?
There seemed to be store all over the more urban areas that all sorts of materials and clothing and things like that, so I am betting that if you can find a local marketplace anywhere than you would be in luck. I am sure you can find what you are looking for by doing a quick search of the area and where people go to shop nearby.
Thank you rz3300. I haven't quite decided what part of India I want to travel in yet but I'm sure all are tourist savvy and will have exactly what I'm looking for.
You can find beautiful needle work and bead work in all parts of India, but in my opinion Chhattisgarh is the best.
