I think visa is not required when you visit Bhutan as long as you are an Indian passport holder. But would have to follow the Entry Permit.

Indian citizens do not require a visa to visit Bhutan. However, they do need certain travel documents. Here are the details:

    1. Entry Permit:
      • Indian citizens traveling to Bhutan need to obtain an entry permit. This permit is usually issued on arrival at the entry points in Bhutan.
    2. Documents Required:
      • Valid Indian passport with a minimum of six months' validity.
      • A passport-size photograph.
      • A voter identity card.
    3. Restricted Areas:
      • Travel to certain restricted areas in Bhutan may require additional permits, and it's advisable to check with the authorities or your tour operator if you plan to visit such regions.
    4. Tourist Packages:
      • Bhutan generally promotes tourism through authorized tour operators, and visitors are required to book their travel through these operators.
It's crucial to check for any updates or changes in the entry requirements, as these can be subject to alterations by the Bhutanese government. Additionally, the situation may have evolved since my last update in January 2022.

For the most accurate and current information, I recommend contacting the Bhutanese embassy or consulate or checking the official website of the Tourism Council of Bhutan.
