Has anyone been to Diu, India? I've read that it has quiet beaches that are not as busy as Goa. There is an old fort, with a lighthouse that you can climb up, as well as a few other sites to visit.

  2. Yes it is one of the popular tourist places. Being a Union territory it is also well maintained. The beaches are serene and the most famous one is the Ghogla beach. The fortress of of Panikot Diu was built by the Portuguese and has a very old church. Nice quaint place to enjoy the sea breeze.
