In the initial days of Covid-19, many people avoided eating out, and then 90% of the restaurants and takeaways closed down too. I am generally out now because of my work, and I see people eating out like normal like there is no Covid-19 problem going on. I personally don't feel it is safe enough to eat or drink outside, as there is a high chance that you can catch it through eating out. What are your thoughts on this?
There are a lot of people out there eating outside food from stalls and restaurants, its like that nothing has happened or happening. But to be honest, if you have even the tiniest bit of sense you would not eat outside. Why take the risk at such a time, no one has it written on them that they have covid-19! If you want to go out, then I suppose its ok, but its best to either eat a full meal from home or take along something with you from home to eat outside. Better safe than sorry I say!
I feel unsafe too even the restos follow the standard social distancing, sanitizing, wearing face masks and the like - still I am not comfy eating outside.
Obviously, it's not safe eating out, although many precautions are taken, how can you guarantee that the person who cooked your food was not in contact with someone who is COVID 19 positive. I think it's better to be safe than sorry, especially if you have small kids or someone elderly in your home.
