I assume there are some major film festivals in India - where do they take place, and at what time of year? Do they feature mostly Indian films, or are they international?
A quick search on Google shows that there are nearly film festivals being held in the country every year. However, it seems to me that the most popular ones are the Great Indian Film and Literature Festival and the Bangalore International Film Festival. The former is held every year sometime in December. The latter festival also happens in December.
I just love the Indian film festivals. So far I've only ever watched them on television, but I would so love to attend one live. The one I watched last featured mostly Indian films. I also love the movies and the music and the fashion. It's all so vibrant and colorful and exciting. I think Danny's right, just do a search on Google and you will find all the information that you need.
