Hello, members, I have joined the forum to get some help with my Delhi to Noida trip. I need to be in Noida for the next two weeks to pass on some papers on a daily basis.
There is no particular time of the day that I need to reach Noida, anytime during the day time is fine, all I need to know is how to reach Noida from Delhi?

What do you suggest is the best mode of transport, although I would have my car?

What Delhi to Noida route would you recommend?

What is the best time of day to travel from Delhi to Noida?

Use the Delhi Metro train to get to Noida and then hire one of those battery operated rikshaws for last mile or an auto rikshaw.

You dont need if you use the metro but if you decide to drive, use the DND toll road.

If it is about traffic, DND is not that crowded even during rush hours but generally speaking in Summers at around 1-2 PM roads look deserted as not many people like the heat.

Hello, @Supriya! Welcome to the forum!

The distance between Delhi to Noida is about 46.7 kms so that's an hour or so of driving time. But using the DND Flyway, it's just about 23 kms or 30 minutes of driving or so.

Here are your transportation options from Delhi to Noida:

    1. Delhi Metro Line - Noida is connected to Delhi from the Delhi Noida Metro Route in the Blue Line. This line has 32 stations from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre. The Noida Metro Stations on the route are the following:
    • Noida Sector 15
    • Noida Sector 16
    • Noida Sector 18
    • Botanical Garden
    • Golf Course
    • Noida City Centre
So depending on where you are in Delhi, take the Blue Line Metro or you can change the line at Rajiv Chowk. You can then reach Noida City Centre from there. Or depart from the previous stations, as it also depends on what part of Noida you're going to.

Here are the timings of the trains departing from Dwarka to Noida:

    Delhi Metro First Train Timing
    • Dwarka - 4:42 am
    • Dwarka Sector 21 - 6:00 am
    • Rajiv Chowk - 5:46 am
    Delhi Metro Last Train Timing
    • Dwarka - 22:30 pm
    • Dwarka Sector 21 - 22:22 pm
    • Rajiv Chowk - 23:23 pm
Time duration during peak hours is 2 to 3 minutes and during off-peak hours is 5 to 10 minutes. From Rajiv Chowk to Noida City Centre, the fare is Rs. 19.

    2. Delhi Transport Corporation Buses - These buses ply within the city from the three bus stations, namely: Kashmiri Gate ISBT, Anand Vihar and Sarai Kale Khan Interstate Bus Terminus. Here are your DTC Bus options from Delhi to Noida:
    • Bus No. 362 - Delhi Gate or Delhi ISBT to Noida Sector 37 or Noida O Block
    • Bus No. 729B and Bus No. 8 - Delhi Gate or Delhi ISBT to Noida Phase II. Change of bus at Sadarpur Village.
    • Bus No. 783 and Bus No. 355 - Delhi Secretariat to Noida Sector 10 to 21. Change of bus at Mandi House.
    • Bus No. 704 and Bus No. 355 - Sadar Bazaar Delhi to Noida Sector 15. Change of bus at Mandi House.
Your bus number depends on where you are from Delhi and where you want to go to Noida. You can check out the DTC Bus Routes website to know more about your options. For timings, it's best to download an app for the DTC Buses as they vary day by day.

    3. Taxi - You can also hire a taxi from Delhi to Noida. Fare would be between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 3,000.

    4. Private Vehicle - As what has been suggested, you can take the DND Flyway Toll Bridge to reach Noida from Delhi. It's only Rs. 28 for toll but make sure your car isn't a black-plated commercial vehicle as it's not allowed in the bridge (Unless you have paid the Rs. 240 road tax from Uttar Pradesh).

The best mode of transport would still be a car. But for public transportation, the Delhi Metro Line is very cheap and quick. You can also choose the direct bus from Delhi to Noida. It's totally up to you.

You can just use the direct route from Delhi to Noida via the DND Flyway:
    • Delhi > Laxmi Nagar > Noida Link Road > DND Flyway > Noida.
This route is about 23 kms so you can reach Noida in 30 minutes or so.

I would suggest early in the morning if you're taking your car so you can avoid the morning traffic. If you're taking public transportation, just check the timings accordingly.

    I hope this helps.:)
