My family and I have chosen Krabi in Thailand as our holiday destination. We would like some further help in knowing what places to visit in Krabi.
This will be the first international holiday for all of us. We are interested in seeing pretty much everything we can there.

Our total stay in Krabi will be for ten days, and we would like to be seeing something or doing something on all of the days. Maybe visiting at least one place every day.

    Hi MaliniLall,

As you have mentioned you will be in Krabi for 10 days I will provide a list of a couple of places to visit and things do.
In no particular order here is a list of the places and things to do in Krabi.

    Railay Beaches and Caves
This actually should be the first place to be visiting while in Krabi, the Railay beaches and caves is a beautiful place with white sand and clear water. The limestone caves are the big highlight of the place, which you can reach by boats that are available there. It is not a very crowded place and is in fact quite secluded, so for some peace and relaxation, this is an ideal place.

    Thung Teo Forest Natural Park
Thung Teo Forest Natural Park is for those who wish to be in nature and also love photography. The park is no ordinary one, as it is full of big green trees, lots of wildlife and the best thing is the emerald colored water and the beautiful waterfall.

    Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave)
Wat Tham Sua is also commonly known as Tiger Cave, and again this is another great place to visit in Krabi. Wat Tham Sua is actually a place full of caves in where there are many temples, you will find a lot of pilgrims and tourists visiting this place, amongst these, you would also see a lot of monks. There are 1237 steps to climb to reach the top and once you have reached the 360-degree view is all worth it.

    Klong Thom Hot Springs
Klong Thom Hot Springs is a place tourists generally visit at the end of their trip to get some relaxation and soothing treatment in the hot springs which is full of mineral salts. The average temperature of the water is between 35 - 40 degrees Celsius. This can be visited on the same day as you visit Thung Two Forest, as the hot springs are in the same reserve.

    Krabi Town
When visiting a foreign country it is a must to go to the local market or town and Krabi Town is the place to be at. The town will allow you to learn more about the Thai culture and experience the hospitality there. Just by the river in the town, you can find some fishing boats and river taxis that can take you to the nearby places.

    Islands near Krabi
There are a couple of Islands which are very popular with tourists and if you can not visit all four make sure you do visit at least one.

The four popular Islands in and around Krabi are:

    Pho Phi Islands
    Koh Tup and Koh Mor
    Koh Poda
    Koh Lanta
