Public Displays Of Affection

    How are public displays of affection seen in India? Is it rude to hug or kiss in public for example? I certainly wouldn't want to offend anyone, but it would be good to know.

    I think public displays of affection are more pronounced now in India. But to be on the safe side, I'd rather not engage in any type of PDAs. Some conservatives still frown upon kissing in public, hugging not so much. However, since you're a foreigner, I don't think they will quite be as strict or as unacceptable with PDAs with you.
