Good morning forum members, I will be in Mumbai sometime this year not final dates yet! I will be visiting the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai and need to know a few important things about the temple and its procedures. 1. What time does the temple open in the morning? 2. How long does it take for darshan? 3. Are there any particular days when it is busier? 4. Does the temple have accommodation or do I need to find accommodation outside in a hotel nearby?
1. The temple opens up at 5.30am from Wednesday to Monday and at 3.15am on Tuesdays. 2. Darshan can easily take up to one hour, but on festivals, occasions, and weekends, it can take more time. 3. As mentioned in answer 2, it is busier on festivals and special occasions. 4. There are no accommodation facilities at the temple, and you would need to find a hotel.

It can be busier on Tuesdays and weekends especially during the morning and evening. Special holidays especially Hindu holidays can be very busy. It's best to time your visit on the weekday, specifically on the afternoon. You can find accommodations near the temple but it doesn't have its own accommodation for tourists. Here's a few: Hotel Amigo. This is just 1.4 kms from the temple. Rates for rooms here start at Rs. 4,500 per night. You can find it at: Shivaji Park, Mumbai, 400028. Hotel Avon Ruby. This is about 3.1 kms fro the temple. Rates for rooms start at Rs. 4,500 per night as well. You can find it at: No. 87, Naigaum Cross Road, Near Dadar Railway Station, Dadar East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400014. I hope this helps!
