Good morning members. I have joined the forum to get some reviews for the Umaid Bhawan Heritage House Hotel in Jaipur. The actual property looks absolutely fantastic, but like they say not everything which shines is glitter. I would like to be safe and find out what the actual hotel is like and then consider staying there with my family. We are all looking for a good ambiance hotel, where the staff is helpful and polite. I also see that they have a pool, is it possible to have meals outside by the pool during the day?

Staying here doesn't mean actually paying for a five-star hotel, yet you get to enjoy the privileges and amenities that a luxury hotel has. Where is the Umaid Bhawan Heritage House Hotel located? The Umaid Bhawan Heritage House Hotel is located in Jaipur. It is under one kilometre away from both the Jaipur Railway Station and Central Bus Station. The nearest attraction to it is the Bani Park but other attractions like the City Palace and Hawa Mahal are also just three kilometres away from it. It is close to the Collectorate Circle Park, specifically located in the Bihari Marg Road. Aesthetically designed, complete with wooden furnitures, painted walls and overhanging drapes. Each room is unique and definitely a showmanship of the Rajasthani architectural beauty. Despite the traditional look though, rooms are still very much fit with the times, complete with the necessary amenities that a family or traveller might need. You can choose between three room types, namely: Royal Deluxe Room, Royal Suite and Service Apartment. Royal Deluxe Room - The Royal Deluxe Room is fitted with marble flooring, floral wall inlays and wooden furnitures. Some rooms also have their own private balcony overlooking the lovely city. Certain features like the wall decors of paintings add that authentic Rajasthani vibe to the room. You can choose between their Royal Deluxe Single Room, Royal Deluxe Double Room or Royal Deluxe Triple Room. Service Apartment - Although situated at the next building, the Service Apartment is still part of the hotel's property. The hotel has an in-house restaurant known as the Umaid Fort View Restaurant. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors, in the rooftop area of the hotel. The hotel serves a variety of cuisine but many of the food options are Indian. There are some cuisines like Chinese, Tandoori, Italian and American too. The rooftop area also has a live puppet show every evening that children would definitely enjoy. It's not that huge though but it's perfect to cool off after a tiring day of touring the city. The swimming pool has a few loungers around it where you can enjoy a small meal or even a drink from while enjoying the view. Other facilities in the hotel include a small souvenir shop along with a business centre. There is also a mini internet cafe where you can enjoy high speed internet access. Lastly, services offered by the hotel are laundry, dry cleaning and ironing. There's also a travel desk which can accommodate all your travel needs, from sightseeing, shuttle services and even ticket booking. Bicycle rentals can also be requested from the hotel. All these services are given to you with a warm smile from the hotel employees too. They're very efficient and polite, just the qualities that most guests are looking for in hotel staff.
