    Laundry In A Hotel

I have never had an issue with laundry partly because I am able to wash my own clothes if the need arises. I have stayed at places where there is no laundry and I have had to wash clothes myself. I keep a detergent pack with me all the time.

    Window Shopping In Delhi

I love window shopping too mainly because it takes me quite some time to decide to buy something. Plus it is an experience that makes me happy and I sometimes spend the whole day window shopping while only buying a few things for myself.

    Don't Drive In India

If I get a chance I will drive a car in India. I like to drive in any country that I visit so that I can get a first hand experience of how it feels to drive in that country. In fact I have already made arrangements for a Honda sedan to be loaned to me when I am in India.

What Is The First Thing That Comes To Mind When You Hear India?

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the name India is the spicy food and the variety of cuisines that are available in a single country. I am a foodie and my eating experiences in India would alone make my trip really worth it.

    Water Filter

Bottled water is the best bet and I believe you can get it easily wherever you go. In fact, you can get bottled water in all hotels, airports and railway stations because even the locals carry them, just to be safe. The tap water available in the country is not fit for drinking.

Sri Lanka's Tuk Tuk Drivers Are The Best

I have heard about tuk tuks and you can find plenty of them in many Asian countries including Thailand. I am quite scared to travel in one because of its missing 4th wheel and the fact that they are driven quite fast. There is no proper balance and in some situations there can be an accident...

Travel In Nepal After The Blockade

Things are getting back to normal if newspaper reports are to be believed. These are temporary issues that get resolved and then travel and tourism related activities resume. Being a tourist driven economy Nepal cannot afford to have issues like this.

    Useless Items

I used to carry a torch to make sure that I can see properly in case the lights went out - but that has never happened anywhere I have traveled. There has been an uninterrupted supply of electricity everywhere I have been so far.

    Liqueurs In India?

I checked with my travel agent and he said that all the bigger hotels have well stocked bars that have all alcoholic beverages including liqueurs. The smaller hotels and inns may not have them though.

How Do I Choose A Beach Hotel?

Well to start with it should have a good beach area that is not open to the public. Also, the rooms should be good and clean as well. I hate staying in a beach hotel where the food is not good so that is an important factor.

    Casinos In India

I was looking for the same information online and found that there are a few casinos in Goa. Except for Goa there are none anywhere else. I also play in casinos although I lose a lot of times unlike your friend who wins most of the time.

    Tailors In Delhi?

It has been my dream to get a blouse stitched for wearing with saris when I am in India. I will not be wearing too many western outfits when I am there. Does anyone know a good tailor who can stitch me a few blouses?

    Persian Carpets In Delhi

I have been hearing about the beautiful Persian carpets that are available in India for very cheap prices. I am not sure how I will carry them - maybe I will buy a small one. Where are they available in Delhi where I will be staying for a few days?

    Travel Bag In Delhi?

For some reason travel bags are extremely expensive in the city that I live in. I don't want to shop online since I have had a card issue in the past. I think I will buy when I arrive in India. Where in Delhi can I find a good travel bag?

Travelling Alone Or With A Group?

I like to travel alone but quite often my friends travel with me. They know that I travel to interesting places and beg me to take them along. I have traveled solo to parts of South America and found that you can make friends easily if you are alone.
