I will be driving to Nasik from Ahmedabad and the only route I know is the one which foes past Saputara, I really want to avoid this route as I want to avoid the ghat sections, is there an alternative router which I can take. If there is an alternative route what is the road condition like?
There are two routes which you can take. Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Dabhoi - Badwani - Sendhwa - Dhule - Malegaon - Nashik or Ahmedabad-Vadodara-Atul-Pondha Village-Nasik. The first route distance would be around 654km and the second route would be around 490km. Both road conditions are good.
The first route has slightly better road conditions than the second route, but the second route is the one which allows you to reach Nasik in the shortest time.
