I want to visit Kathmandu in Nepal, and for me, it is always important to know when the most appropriate time to visit is, so I would like to know when the best time to visit Kathmandu is? I plan to do some traveling while in Kathmandu and visit the tourist places.
There is what is called the tourist season which begins in September and ends in November. During this time you will also get to see festivities. The weather at this time is expected to be cool. December and January are the coldest. But if you enjoy viewing some snow clad mountains this is the time. February brings in spring a time for flowers and fresh air. This could last till April. May/June is the monsoon season and may not be ideal for a tourist. Hope you will pick the right time for you to enjoy.
