A few places I have visited offer you a chance to stay in a room at a families home. They offer you lodging and one or two meals for the price of your stay. Some places have a private bathroom set up while other you share the bathroom. I was wondering if there is any place like this to stay in India. I find these type of lodging very comfortable and a chance to really meet the people.
Somewhat like a bed and breakfast place? I believe you could probably find some of these on the Airbnb site by just typing in India.
