My family and I are planning a visit to a hill station soon, but we haven't decided upon the location yet. We wanted to know how many days should we spend at a hill station, some idea will help us in planning accordingly. We are husband and wife with a 5-year-old daughter.
Thank you for posting your query here. If you are going to a hill station to beat the heat then longer the better. Find an affordable secluded accommodation and stay there as long as your pocket and time permits. Most hill stations have a central attraction like for instance the ridge at Shimla, that is where you will find every tourist in Shimla. There are all sorts of shops , restaurants and bars on the ridge where you can spend time and do some shopping if you happen to go to Shimla but I personally avoid the crowded places so really depends on your preferences.
