Every morning and evening a maha aarti is performed at Harki Pauri which is a ghat in Haridwar, where many worshippers also bathe. You are likely to see a large number of people during the morning and evening times when the aarti is being performed, and at this time people get together at one place at Harki Pauri.
When you visit Hardwar you should not miss a chance to see the aarti as the view and the whole atmosphere of the places is amazing.

The morning timings for the maha aarti in Haridwar are between 5.30am to 6.30am.

The evening timings for the maha aarti in Haridwar are between 6.00pm to 7.00pm.

It is best to arrive early for the aarti so that you get a good place to sit or stand.

Is it possible to know what the duration of the aarti is? When going to Haridwar we will have small kids with us as well, and so it would be good to know whether it would be feasible going with the kids or not.

The aarti lasts for about an hour, and there will be more people in the evening aarti than the morning aarti.
For the morning aarti you should arrive about 45 minutes before it starts and for the evening aarti you should arrive at least an hour and half before the it starts.
