According to Hindu texts, the birthplace of Hanuman Ji was in Anjaneri, which is about 20km away from Nasik on the Nasik-Trimbakeshwar road located in Maharastra. On Hanuman Jayanti this place if full of worshippers, which is a good time to go, otherwise, you will also find many devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can easily find accommodation options in either Nasik or Trimbakeshwar. There are fewer choices in Trimbakeshwar than Nasik where you would have a variety of accommodations to choose from.
