I will be getting a Mumbai to Pune flight next week. I will be in Pune for only for four days and require a good but affordable place to stay. I would like some suggestions from members for hotels in Pune near the airport which are at a reasonable rate say around the Rs1000 mark. I don't really have any requirements or anything, as the room would just be spent for sleeping and I would be out during the day.

There are some hotels though, about 7 kilometres to 10 kilometres away from the airport that fit your budget. So these are your only options with the budget that you have given. It's easy to ride an auto rickshaw or a cab from airport to the hotel and they won't cost as much. Here they are: Hotels Near Pune Airport (Around Rs. 1,000) 1. Hotel Homeland - This is about 8.2 kilometres away from the Pune International Airport. This is a very basic hotel, located quite close to the airport and railway station. Its rates for rooms are very affordable but what suits your budget is their Executive Single Non AC Room. If ever you need guidance for your sightseeing or travel needs, the hotel has a travel desk that can help you. The hotel also has a restaurant, serving Indian cuisine to guests. There's also a small coffee shop where you can enjoy in-between meals like pastries and a cup of hot coffee. If ever you need to have your clothes laundered, you can just request for that through the hotel staff or management. Tariff - Executive Non AC Single Room at Rs. 995 per night. But since you're going out during the day, this hotel would suit you and their rates are also very affordable. Tariff - Standard Room at Rs. 950 per night. If ever you have luggage with you, the hotel has an elevator so you won't need to carry it from the first floor to the other floors. Tariff - Economy Non AC Room at Rs. 1,071 per night.
