I would like to find out what timings and cost are for Snow World in Hyderabad. I have tried to find out but have not got any information which I require.

I would also like to know how the charges are, whether it is per hour usage or a one-time usage charge?

Any other information about the place would be good for a person going there for the first time there.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

Snow World in Hyderabad is the largest theme park of its kind in the country. It is here that locals and tourists alike get to enjoy snow and snowfall in all its glory. Of course it's artificial but that hasn't stopped visitors from thronging to the theme park. Inaugurated in 2004, it has now become one of the most visited attractions in the city. It is open all-year round, from Mondays to Sundays, between 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Here are the exact schedules for the different sessions inside the theme park:

    Session Timings in Snow World

    SessionTime
    1st session11:00 am to 12:00 pm
    2nd session12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
    3rd session2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
    4th session3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
    5th session5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
    6th session6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
    7th session8:00 pm to 9:00 pm
So that visitors would be acclimatised properly, they are allowed to enter in different sections with different temperatures. So the first section would be at 20°C, the second section would be 0°C and the last section would be below zero degree. The core zone of the theme park has other features like a children's play area, ice skating rink, snow slides/tubes and ice hotel. Recent additions to the theme park were snowfall and go karting. All the necessary clothing and snow accessories are available from the theme park as well.

From the table above, you can see the different sessions available for the theme park. So visitors are only allowed to stay within the theme park for their specific session. Beyond that, you have to collect your belongings and leave the theme park. Unless of course, you pay again for another session inside the theme park. Keep in mind that cellphones are not allowed inside the theme park so make sure that you leave them at home or to someone reliable. You can leave your shoes though at the counter but keep the token so you can collect it after. Cameras can be brought inside the theme park but there's a fee attached to it.

The rates for the theme park differ for children and adults. Here they are:
