I need to get a train from Chandigarh to Amritsar and have failed to find any trains for this particular journey. I don't know why there is no train journey between these two destinations even though they are popular, or it maybe I have not researched well enough. Either way, I need to know what train goes from Chandigarh to Amritsar, and if there is no train what is the best way to reach Amritsar from Chandigarh.
There are three trains which go from Chandigarh to Amritsar. LKU ASR EXP - the train departs from Lal Kuan and arrives in Amritsar, via Chandigarh. INTERCITY EXP - this train departs from Chandigarh and arrives in Amritsar. CDG ASR SUP - this train also departs from Chandigarh and the last stop is Amritsar.
