    Mother Teresa's Mission

Mother Theresa's mission would be interesting to see, Gerbera. Kolkata is a really populated city is it not and was once called Calcutta. Is there a lot of poverty in that city?

    Chennai's Round The Clock Nightclubs

I read in an article that Chennai is becoming the popular nightclub spot with bars and clubs open around the clock. Are the bars really crowded all night long or is it a good place to spend a night out with travel companions?

Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat And Spa

I was thinking if I had enough money saved this would be one place I'd like to visit. The Hilton Retreat and Spa looks wonderful. It has all kinds of things to do spa related and non-spa. If you get a chance look it up online.

    Wearing Sandals

I know that women are supposed to cover the shoulders and legs in certain parts of India. Are wearing sandals with open toes okay? I have a pair of walking sandals I wear during the summer because my feet get incredibly warm in the heat of day and sometimes swell. Running or walking shoes are...

    Pashmina Scarves Or Shawls

I think pashminas are the best scarves I've ever worn. They are long enough to dress up a shirt and work well in the colder months at keeping your neck warm. I have two my sister bought for me when she took a trip abroad. The colors are fantastic.

    Hot Air Ballooning

Wow, I'd be terrified up in a hot air balloon but I imagine the views are something else! Have you tried hot air ballooning before Gerbera? My best friend has it on her bucket list of the top 10 things to do in her life.

Travel In Nepal After The Blockade

I wouldn't take the chance of being stuck in Nepal without a way to cross the border, unless you have a lot of time for your holiday. If protests are still ongoing is there a chance it could turn ugly at any time?

    How Comfortable Are Overnight Buses?

Do they advertise what type of bus you will be taking when you book your travel or tour? For all the tours I've read I don't remember them saying what type of bus they use.

    Peacocks In India

Peacocks are majestic looking birds and I'd love to see them when I go to India.. I read somewhere, I think it was on BBC news, that Goa was considering classifying the bird as a nuisance. That because there were so many of the birds and they were destroying crops and causing damage, they...

    Treehouse Resorts In Kerala

How expensive would the stay be? Probably a lot more than a hotel? It would be like a memory from my tree house when I was a child, only built a lot better. Wouldn't it be lovely to fall asleep to the forest noise and wake up to the birds in the morning.

    Tree Bridges In Cherrapunji, Meghalaya

This is interesting. I've never seen a tree grow like that, it must be pretty pliable. I'd love to go see this bridge and walk on it, especially the double bridge I saw in one picture. It is a smart way to use nature to help you cross water and rough terrain.

Where to find the best street food in Kolkata?

This is absolutely fascinating since I love food, especially made in different countries. I will certainly have to try the street food in Kolkata on my visit. If you enjoy a particular food that you try there would they give you the recipe to make it at home?

    Don't Drive In India

How true is it that driving in India is a scary experience? I heard that drivers do not respect the center line and will often jump into oncoming traffic to get around another slow driver. That is truly scary and makes me not want to drive while I'm there.

Are 5-star Hotels Really That Much Better?

I've stayed in a 5 star hotel once and that was on my honeymoon. It's nice and the service is fantastic but from an economical perspective it's not worth spending all that money when you are already paying so much to travel.
