    Cadbury's Chocolate?

So I have something of an addiction to Cadbury's chocolate  and will definitely be taking some with me to feed my craving. I just wondered whether it's sold in India, and if so how widely? I can't face the prospect of running out but don't want to weigh down my luggage by filling it...

    Storing Luggage?

Thank you - one more (possibly silly!) question for you. How long is it acceptable to leave luggage with a hotel, if you're not staying there during that time? For example, imagine I stay at hotel A for seven days, then travel to another town for four days, with plans to return to hotel A...

    Trekking Aids

Thank you both. How would you recommend finding a good guide? Is it something I could do online before I arrive, or more a case of asking around when I get to my hotel?

    Going To A Cricket Match?

I suppose you could say that they're similar in that both have players hitting a ball with a bat, running and the fielders trying to get the batsman 'out'. But I think the rules and scoring systems are completely different (don't ask me to explain cricket rules...I really can't). I've never...

    Storing Luggage?

I'm not great at packing light, so does anyone know of locations where luggage can be stored? I thought it might be good to keep one (or two?!) big case(s) stored at a base location and then have a rucksack to carry the stuff I need while out on short trips to other places. Has anyone done this?

    Trekking Aids

I've done quite a lot of trekking in my time and would like to do some while visiting India. I'm okay at map reading, but I do tend to rely quite a bit on my phone when I get stuck. I'd quite like to trek alone when I go to India, so I'm wondering whether I would be able to get by with map and...

    Airbnb?

I've used it once - we were going to an event in London and couldn't find a hotel nearby in our price range. We spent a LOT of time reading through reviews and comparing profiles on Airbnb before choosing a young couple who had an apartment right across the street from the event location. They...

Assume I Am A Starving Student On A Budget That Can't Even Support Ramen Noodles

I've never done it but I would assume that lots of people do...are there any Facebook groups or similar for people looking to find other people who are offering a couch/spare bed?

101 'must-see' Offbeat Destinations In India

Oh my goodness - those Agatti Islands! I'd thought I was fairly well-travelled but I saw that photo and honestly thought it must be Australia or the Maldives or somewhere. What an amazing country India is, having such a wide variety of terrains to explore.
