My wife and I will be in Delhi for our holidays. We have decided to stay at a 5-star hotel in Delhi and needed to know which 5-star hotel we should consider and where in Delhi we should choose to stay? We would have our private cab to take us to places. We ideally require a location which would have easy access to the popular places to visit, some shopping places and also restaurants. Another point to note is that in case we don't want to travel in a car and want to go out for a late night dinner, it would be good to get an auto from the hotel, so would we be able to get an auto outside of the 5-star hotel? Please also mention if the hotels which you mention are close to the Delhi Metro line?

Choosing a 5-star hotel in Delhi is a great idea as it ensures a luxurious and comfortable stay during your holidays. Here are some renowned 5-star hotels in Delhi, each with its own unique features and locations to consider: The Leela Palace New Delhi: Located in Chanakyapuri, it's a posh and diplomatic enclave in Delhi. It's known for its elegance, exquisite interiors, and impeccable services. It's close to many embassies and government offices. The Oberoi, New Delhi: Situated in the heart of Delhi, it offers a fantastic view of Humayun's Tomb and Delhi Golf Course. It's renowned for its world-class hospitality. The Taj Mahal Hotel: Located in the Lutyens' Delhi, near India Gate, this iconic hotel offers a blend of historical charm and modern luxury. It's near several tourist attractions. ITC Maurya: Also in Chanakyapuri, this hotel offers luxury and convenience. It's known for its fine dining and is often frequented by business travelers and dignitaries. The Imperial New Delhi: Situated in Connaught Place, it's a heritage hotel with a rich history. It's close to shopping and major landmarks. The Pullman New Delhi Aerocity: Located near the airport, this hotel is more modern and is well-suited for both business and leisure travelers. All these hotels provide easy access to popular places to visit, upscale shopping areas, and some of the finest restaurants in Delhi. Regarding taking an auto, getting an auto-rickshaw outside of a 5-star hotel can sometimes be a bit challenging due to its upscale nature. However, most 5-star hotels offer concierge services and can arrange for reliable transportation, including private cars or taxis. Auto rickshaws are more commonly found near public areas and markets. As for proximity to the Delhi Metro, several of these hotels are close to metro stations. For example, The Taj Mahal Hotel is within walking distance from the Khan Market metro station. It's advisable to check with the hotel of your choice about their transportation services and the nearest metro station for your convenience. Enjoy your stay in Delhi!
