I am interested in taking my family to the Anand Sagar Resort in Thane. I am unclear about how the costs work out for this particular resort.

I would first like to find out what the Anand Sagar Resort entry fees are?

Are there full day fees which would include usage of facilities and food?

Is there a separate charge for usage of their services and facilities or is that included in the entry fee?

    Is there accommodation available?

The Anand Sagar Resort and Water Park
What is the Anand Sagar Water Park?

The Anand Sagar Water Park is a fun and enjoyable destination for families. It has different sections, catering to different types of guests. For instance, the water park has many slides and swimming pools that are suitable for both the young adults and children. There's even a rain dance section where the whole family can frolic in the splashing water. Tube slides, wide slides and high slides are also abundant around the water park. On the other hand, there's also a mini children's park, complete with animal rides and a jungle train. The lawns here are well-maintained and perfect for just running around or playing sports.

What are the entry fee rates for the Anand Sagar Water Park?

    If you're just
visiting the water park for a day picnic, you can avail of the Day Picnic Package which has very nominal rates. With this, you have full access to the water park and some meals of the day are also included, depending on the package you choose.

If you choose the Entry Only Package, you would have access to the water park only. For food, you would need to buy your own inside the water park but you cannot bring outside food inside the resort. If you choose any one of the Vegetarian Package or the Non-Vegetarian Package, all your meals for the day up to lunch would be included plus an evening tea and snack. In addition, you can access the water park as well. Along with this, you can also use the changing rooms for changing into your normal clothes or swimming costumes. Lockers come at an extra charge though.

The Entry Only Package costs Rs. 250 for adults and Rs. 200 for
children. The Vegetarian Package costs Rs. 490 for adults and Rs. 450 for children. And lastly, the Non-Vegetarian Package costs Rs. 550 for adults and Rs. 490 for children. The water park is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm everyday.

What are the facilities in the Anand Sagar Resort?

    The resort section of the
park has different air-conditioned and non air-conditioned rooms too. Rooms are very clean, with minimalistic design and tiled flooring. The resort also has an air-conditioned conference hall in case you might need to rent one for events such as birthdays or anniversaries. It has a capacity of about 30 persons. But if you do need a larger venue, the open lawn area can accommodate up to 2,000 people at the same time. There's an in-house restaurant too which serves mainly Indian and Chinese dishes.

Room Rates in Anand Sagar Resort

    Room TypeRateAmenities
Executive Non AC RoomRs. 900Ceiling fan, television and attached bathroom
Executive AC RoomRs. 1,200Air conditioning, television and attached bathroom

For the room rates, they differ depending on the type of room. But they are generally very affordable especially as compared to the other hotels in the city. Room amenities are just the same, except that the non air-conditioned room (Rs. 900) has a ceiling fan while the air-conditioned room (Rs. 1,200) has air-conditioning of course.

    I hope this helps.
