Sagar Resort Virar entry fees

I am going to be in Virar next month with my wife and kids. I would like to take them to the Sagar Resort in Virar and need to first know what their entry fees are and also what all is included in the entry fee.

Please provide as much detail as possible so I know whether it would be a good idea to go to the resort or not.

Overview

The Sagar Resort is a budget property located close to the Arnala Beach in Virar. Nestled amidst lush acres of greenery, the resort is truly a breath of fresh air for the locals residing in nearby urban areas like Mumbai, Pune and Nashik. Complete with swimming pools and sports ground, the resort can be a weekend getaway or even a day outing getaway. So do you want a change of scenery? Location

The Sagar Resort is located in Virar West, around a kilometre away from the Arnala Beach. The resort is just off the Navapur Subhash Road, close to other properties like the Swagat Resort and Nisarg Resort. The Sagar Resort is about 70 kilometres away from Mumbai, 204 kilometres away from Pune and 170 kilometres away from Nashik. The nearest railhead to the resort is the Virar Railway Station, which is about eight kilometres away. From this station, there are local buses that run to the Arnala Bus Depot, which is just 550 metres away from the Sagar Resort. Dining options around the resort are very limited, the nearest ones are Wood Stick and DT Restaurant & Bar, both of which are around six kilometres away.

Vibe

The entire resort is set upon lush lawns and gardens. Once in a while, tall coconut trees also lend their presence, giving the place a more beach-like atmosphere. The building where the rooms are located has this bright orange and yellow hues to it, though balanced by the white accents. Various murals also flank some buildings which add some vibrancy to the resort. Rock edifices and statues of frogs can also be found within the resort premises. It can be stated that the resort has an eccentric design, from the funky colours to the statues. But there's this oasis of calm enveloping the place due to the presence of various trees and plants.

Swimming Pools

The resort has four main swimming pools. There's the Heart-Shaped Swimming Pool, flanked by three narrow slides on different sides. There's a Circle-Shaped Swimming Pool, which has an umbrella canopy in the middle with flowing water. There are also three slides here, two curvy ones and a central straight narrow slide. There's another Heart-Shaped Swimming Pool but it has different sets of slides. To its western side is a wide slide and to its eastern side are three narrow slides and a spiral slide. The last one is another Circle-Shaped Swimming Pool, which also has an umbrella canopy in the middle with flowing water. The slide here though falls from a steeper height. There are also smaller pools with showers being fed by the mouth of the frog statues.

Other Facilities

Aside from the swimming pools, the resort also has two Rain Dance areas. In these areas, water sprouts from the ground through the help of sprinklers. You can even groove to the latest beats while enjoying the sprinkling of water. Also available in this area are the Changing Rooms and Bathrooms, free of use for day guests or staying guests. There's also a Playground area, with regular swings and circular swings. The lawn areas of the resort can be venues for outdoor sports such as cricket and football. The resort also has an in-house restaurant serving the very best of Indian cuisine. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians would have plenty of choices in the menu. Finally, the resort also has accommodation options, consisting of both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned ones.

Entry Fees (Day Outing)

The resort has fixed entry fees for those who want to visit the property during the day. The Sagar Resort has one of the most affordable entry fees in the area so even the budget travellers can enjoy visiting this property. These are the entry fees for the day outing package of the Sagar Resort. For children aged 3 and below, they can enter the resort free of charge. They would have access to all the resort's swimming pools as well as have free meals during the buffets. For children aged 3 to 10, entry fee is at Rs. 250 per head. With this fee, they can also access the swimming pools and are entitled to a free breakfast and buffet lunch. For adults aged 10 and above, the entry fee is at Rs. 450 per head. Breakfast and buffet lunch is also included in the fee, along with access to the swimming pools. Finally, for couples, there's a special entry fee of Rs. 1,500 which includes access to swimming pools, meals and a Deluxe Non AC Room.

Night Fees (Overnight Outing)

The resort also has fixed rates for those who want to spend the night in the property. The rates for overnight outing are higher and they are just the same for both adults and children. It includes all meals of the day, from morning until night time. The night fees also already include access to the swimming pools but rooms aren't included yet.

Guests can also access the swimming pools with this entry fee.

Room Rates

For the ultimate relaxation and comfort, you can also opt to rent one of the rooms in the property. Their rooms vary, some have air-conditioning while others don't have air-conditioning. The tariffs vary depending on the type of room you rent.
