Bus from Mumbai to Shirdi

    To reach Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir I need to get a bus from Mumbai, and I would like to get some information about the bus from Mumbai to Shirdi.

    I would like to know where do I get a bus from Mumbai which would take me to Shirdi?

    What is the cost of a Mumbai to Shirdi bus?

    Dos the bus drop you close to the Mandir in Shirdi?

    Can I easily get a seat if I arrive at the time of departure when leaving from Mumbai?

    The distance between Mumbai and Shirdi is about 242 kilometres or 4 to 5 hours of driving away. For those taking public transportation, journey duration can be longer, especially if you take into account the traffic and stopovers that you would encounter. Fortunately though, you have plenty of options for public transportation, even for buses. If you're in a tight budget, you can just board an ordinary bus. If you want a more comfortable journey, you can opt for air-conditioned or even Volvo buses. Further, you can choose between government-operated or privately-operated buses.

    Buses from Mumbai to Shirdi

    1. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) Buses - The MSRTC operates several buses plying between Mumbai and Shirdi. Some of the buses depart from the Mumbai Central Bus Depot, just 1.4 kilometres away from the Mumbai Central Local Station. Others depart from the Parel Bus Depot, Kurla Nehru Nagar Bus Depot, ST Bus Depot Andheri and ST Depot in Borivali Nancy Colony. You just need to know the route of the bus to know from which bus stop you would board it from. Any of these bus would drop you off at the Shirdi Bus Depot which is just 650 metres from the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. The table below highlights their timings along with their fares.
