    Hello,

I have been browsing this forum for over a year now and have been enjoying the posts from different members. I signed up today as I am looking for information about hotels in Delhi and Noida.

My boyfriend who is from Bangalore will be visiting Delhi for a week and we are looking for a hotel where we could spend some time together during the day as I would return back home every night because I live with parents. I am a bit scared about the police and even the hotel staff as I have heard horror stories so I am looking for a decent hotel where unmarried couples are allowed and they wont have problems me visiting during the day.

My budget is Rs4000-5000 per day and we need the room for a week. My boyfriend has an ID from Bangalore and his drivers license but my ID is a Delhi ID if that makes a difference. Location of the hotel is not really that important as I drive so getting there and back is not a big deal but I would prefer it to be some where in South Delhi or Noida or even Greater Noida.

I hope to get some good advise on this from experienced members as I want to stay out of trouble and just have a good time while my boyfriend is hear without having to worry about being harassed by the police.

    Thanks

Hi, I understand your concern. Here are some suggestions that I can give to you:
    • Stay Uncle. This is actually a website that gives you the list of hotels that accommodate unmarried couples. This was just launched recently and lots of people have reviewed this positively. The downside is that it is tied up only to Mumbai and Delhi. So you can only use this when searching for hotels in Delhi.
    • Ginger Hotels. You only need a valid ID to book in this hotel. They accommodate unmarried couples and won't be judging you or asking you any inappropriate questions.
    • Airbnb. Another great option, but can get more expensive. However, you can be sure that the authorities won't be harassing you or your partner.
    • Opt for more expensive hotels. They will be more professional as compared to cheaper hotels. This is not always the case though.
Another advice I can give you is to book in advance so you won't have trouble booking in person. This way, you can make sure that you guys have an accommodation no matter what.

    I hope this helps!
