    Hi

I am reaching Goa in late January and I am interested in going to some music and dance festivals there. I am mainly interested in all night parties and music concerts, I heard of Sunburn festival in Goa, but it was in December, so is there any such festival in January too and if yes how can I arrange the tickets/entry pass for the same. Any advice or contact information would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Gopala

You got such a nice, meaningful and holy name, why do you want to spoil it by going to all night long parties? In my holy opinion you must look for some temples around.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, there are no music or dance events in Goa during the last week of the month of January. If you can schedule your trip a little later, in February, there is a music event by that time. During the middle of February, the Pop, Beat and Jazz Music Festival happens. Various concerts happen in the capital of Goa which is Panaji during that time.

I've also read about the Hardcore Music Fest in Goa. But you're a little too late for that since that happens early in January, specifically at the 8th of the month. The specific destination is in Baga Beach. This year, several artists played like Disc Jockeys (DJs) including Angerfist, Miss K8, Radical Redemption and Theo Gobensen. There were also activities like art installations, beer showers, mud fights/fist fights, zip lining and pool parties. There were also merchandise stalls along with a camp fire. If you can schedule your trip earlier next year, you can join this festival.

You can still enjoy nightlife in Goa though. Candolim, Baga, Calangute, Vagator and Anjuna beaches have the most excellent night parties.

    I hope this helps!
