In a weeks time, I will be in Kashmir with a group of family and friends. We don't have any itinerary neither do we want one, as our family or friends never go by them, and it's impossible to try even to by it.

I think it would just be easy having a list of places to visit in Kashmir and then just go and then visit them whenever we feel like during our stay there.

So please can you guys give a list of places to visit in Kashmir in May.

    Hope This helps.

    • Gardens like the Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Mughal Garden, Botanical Garden and Badamwari Garden.
    • Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest mosque in Kashmir.
    • Shah Hamdan Mosque. Offers a great view of the Jhelum River as well.
    • Shrine of Baba Reshi. Thousands of devotees visit this site every year.
    • Gondola Cable Car. Offers a view of the Himalayas. You can visit this all year round and have a ride with your friends and family.
    • Lidder River. For adventure seekers, you can try white water rafting here.

    • Krishnasar Lake. Tourists love fishing and doing water activities in here.
    • Nilagrad River. It is believed to have healing and treating powers.
    • Baltal Valley. Offers picturesque views of its valley.
