    Hi

I have booked a train ticket from Pune to New Delhi, before booking the ticket it was showing 2 seats are available but now after booking the ticket PNR query shows RLWL 2. Can you please explain what it means and is it a confirmed ticket or not?

RLWL is remote location waiting list. RLWL is issued when your journey is to and from a location which is not very frequently booked and chances of RLWL getting confirmed are a little less then a simple WL. WL is issued when your origin and destination has many takes and that means a lot of tickets have been issued already so there is a better chance of some of them getting cancelled and yours getting confirmed.

Not the most user friendly way of ticketing but Indian railways is Indian railways. What can we do :)
