I need to be in Jammu, and I don't have a confirmed date of travel, and when getting a Delhi to Jammu train, I need to know what the seat availability is like and know whether it is easy to get a seat or not.

I would like to know which train it is easy to get seat availability on.

    Overview

The distance between Delhi and Jammu is about 590 kilometres. By car, it can take around 10 to 12 hours to cover this distance. With rail journey, it can take a bit longer, even reaching around 14 hours at the most. When choosing for trains running between Delhi and Jammu, you would have three options for waiting list quotas, namely, Remote Location Waiting List (RLWL), General Waiting List (GNWL) and Pooled Quota Waiting List (PQWL). Out of these three waiting list quotas, it's best to choose the General Waiting List one, because you'd have a higher number of seats to choose from. Also, if ever you get a waitlisted ticket, the chances of being confirmed is higher too as compared to the other quotas. In this guide, we would highlight which trains have this type of quota that you can take from Delhi to Jammu.
