Kerela Trip Itinerary Help

We are a couple traveling to Kerela and this is out first trip in the South. We need some help with the itinerary as we don't know where or what to start with, we also want to make sure we get quite a lot covered in our five day trip. Please also advise on budget accommodation as well.
 
Your destination information is very vague, need to know where in Kerela you will be going?
 
So sorry totally forgot about it! We will be arriving at Kochi airport in the early hours of the morning and from there we would head off to Chalakudi.
 
1st day - On your first day as you said you be in Chalakudi so you can go to Athirapally falls and stay for a while, before evening you can set off for Munnar
2nd and 3rd day - Stay in Munar and do some sight seeing there it would take around two days for good sight seeing
4th day - Early morning leave for Thekkady which would take most of the day so you need to make a night stay there
5th day - Early morning leave for Alleppey and stay there over night or leave for Kochi airport depending on the time of your return flight.
