I hadn't really thought much about Chennai before, but I have been looking into it the last few days as it's one of the places that has a cricket stadium to watch a game. I'll have to work out scheduling, but it sounds like there's so much more to see and do there than just the cricket match that I was thinking of seeing!

Sounds like the city has a lot I am interested in - nature, heritage/history related stuff, beaches, and good food...sign me up!!

Nice! I have not really thought much about chennai. It seems to be a fabulous place to visit from all that you have said. I have another option to consider for my holiday. And maybe it would be cheaper.
