I am interested in watersports and Goa seems like the ideal location where water sports can be performed. I have never been to Goa before, and neither know about the waters sports conducted there so that I would like an insight of water sports in Goa in September end. I know that water sports in Goa are not operational during June and July, but what about in September end? What all watersports are there in Goa? Any idea of costs for the water sports?
Hi, @Monika! Welcome to the forum! Most water sports activities in Goa resume during the month of October. That being said, I know of three activities you can do during the monsoon season still. These are white water rafting, kayaking and yacht/curise ride. Try white water rafting in the Mhadei River where there's high rapids you can enjoy. Here's the water sports activities in Goa with some of their rates: Snorkelling (with free food) at Rs. 1,750. Scuba Diving at Rs. 5,000. White River Rafting in Tilari River at Rs. 3,200. Underwater Sea Walking at Rs. 2,300. White River Rafting in Mahdei River at Rs. 2,000. Water Skiing at Rs. 1,800. Wakeboarding at Rs. 1,700. Catamaran Sailing at Rs. 1,600. Bumper Ride at Rs. 550. Banana Boat Ride at Rs. 400. Deep Sea Fishing at Rs. 2,500. Kayaking Trip at Rs. 3,500. Parasailing at Rs. 1,000. Surfing (Arambol) at Rs. 2,200. Speed Boat Ride at Rs. 450. Kite Surfing at Rs. 2,500. Aqua Zorbing at Rs. 9,000. Yacht or Cruise at Rs. 8,500 to 9,000. There you go, these are all the water sports in Goa along with their average rates.
