I have booked a train tatkal ticket, and I have got the code CKWL. I have not seen this code before and do not know what it means, please advice what does CKWL mean in IRCTC? A quick response would be appreciated.
CKWL means that your tatkal ticket is on the waiting list. The CKWL is only used for tatkal tickets, the general tickets waiting list tickets come under GNWL code. You will be able to find out whether your ticket is confirmed or not 4-6 hours before the train leaves its starting station.
