Why are so many Africans travelling to India for treatment? Many Africans are lately travelling to India for cancer treatment. Many of them who come back have praised their services which are not expensive. Some have gone for bone marrow transfer and for heart surgeries. I think that Africa also need educate their doctors and facilities that can cater for the sick.

Not just from Africa many from other countries come here for treatment. Not only is the treatment cheaper patients get good attention. India is noted hospitality and this is one of the reasons why India is preferred. With improved technology interacting with the patients' doctors abroad is easy and this interaction helps the Indian doctors to understand the patient better.

At first when I used to think about why India is getting a higher preference in worldwide treatment, I used to think it's because maybe it has discovered better herbs or medicine products somewhere within it's vast country. But I was wrong. For the very same reason as why the UK is considered, India has also become popular and top due to it's world class treatment reasons. And it's also time African countries like South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria advance in the same lest it's patients suffer loss on travelling all-the-way.

The countries that you have listed have a long way to go. India has already made great strides in several areas including medicine and the icing on the cake is that treatment in India, as I have already said, is much cheaper. Just to give you an idea of the cost of treatment in India a dental root canal treatment will cost ten times more in the US compared to India.
