My family and I have decided to go to Pondicherry this year for our holiday. We ideally would love to stay at a resort which has a private beach just like they have in Goa. As the destination is new, we thought we would not risk choosing it ourselves instead registered with the forum and ask for suggestions. We don't know what the average cost would be for a private beach hotel, so have not set a budget yet.

If you have had enough of the beach, there's an outdoor swimming pool that you can enjoy as well. A spa is also within the resort premises so that you can try out Ayurvedic treatments and massages. Club Mahindra Resort Puducherry - Located a bit on the outskirts of the town is the Club Mahindra Resort Puducherry. The resort has a private beach access too, which is very clean and has less crowds. The beach is located on the southern side of the famed Paradise Beach. The resort is set amidst a lush expanse of greenery and is very spacious. Rooms exude a trendy and modern vibe, with earthy colour motifs and comfortable furnitures. A sofa doubles up as a bed for an extra person staying in the room. The resort's infinity pool is quite huge and can accommodate a large group or several families. Their in-house restaurant is known as the Sea Shellz and serves both local and international cuisines to guests. There are also other facilities like a spa, a play area and gym that guests can access. Internet is available but only in the lobby area of the resort. Isn't that just a good excuse to explore more of the region though? One downside of the resort though is that it is not located in the city centre so you need to travel about 20 kilometres or so to reach some of the main attractions of Pondicherry. But if your main goal for your trip is to just enjoy the beach and have some serenity, the Club Mahindra Resort Puducherry is a good choice for that. It is a bit away from the centre of Pondicherry, about 20 to 30 minutes of driving away. What sets this resort apart is that they have over 50 bungalows located close to the beach, all of which are uniquely designed, so that no two are even alike. All of these bungalows are located a walking distance away from the resort's private beach. The materials used in these bungalows are taken from old colonial homes in nearby areas of Kerala. The most affordable accommodation options are the Eco Non AC Rooms and AC Standard Rooms. The Eco Non AC Rooms are air cooled, complete with thatched walls and roofs, with an attached private terrace and garden area. The resort has access to a semi-private beach in the region, which isn't that crowded as compared to other beaches within the vicinity. This five-star property exudes classic royalty in every aspect, from its rooms, restaurant and even the overall aesthetics of the hotel. You can choose between three types of rooms The Windflower Studio, the Windflower Suite and the Windflower Villa. RKN Beach Resort - Perhaps one of the more affordable private beach resorts in Pondicherry is the RKN Beach Resort. The resort is on the traditional side, featuring a colonial era style of architecture from its outer facade up to its rooms. It has a private access to a beach, which can be reached through the back gate of the resort. Rooms are very simple, with wooden furnitures and large windows overlooking the lake or the sea. There is also a private terrace within each room, from which a large sitting area is placed for the enjoyment of the surrounding views. Their Indiana restaurant offers Indian, Continental, Chinese and Oriental dishes to guests. Both indoor sports and outdoor sports areas can cater to the entertainment needs of the little ones. A medium sized swimming pool can be enjoyed by guests of all ages. If you need to access the internet though, it is only available in the lobby area of the resort. Hi last year i was visited in Karnataka with my family we travel almost all south india Pondicherry , coorg. we stay in hotel Old Kent Estate this is good resort for family people good and safe. If you there you can stay here as my point of view.
