    Overview

Hyderabad is sometimes referred to as Cyberabad, owing to the large number of technology industries in the city. But that's not all, Hyderabad is regarded as one of the best metro cities in the country, as it's not as chaotic as other developed cities, giving one an experience of a medium-paced life. For those wondering about the road and transport infrastructures of the city, they are quite extensive. There are various railway stations that cater to the needs for connectivity from the city to other cities, and vice versa. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation also operates an extensive fleet of buses, going from point to point in the city. And finally, there are plenty of taxi companies around Hyderabad too, for short journeys within or around the city that locals or even outsiders need to take. Below, we would discuss the best taxi companies around Hyderabad, plus the contact details for each of them.

Best Cab Companies in Hyderabad (With Phone Numbers)

    1. Best Cabs - With a tagline of 'Anywhere, anytime, on time,' Best Cabs is a prime choice for locals travelling within the city of Hyderabad. They provide very affordable taxi services without compromising on the cleanliness or quality of drivers. They have three types of cabs, namely, the Indica, the Verito and the Innova. You can opt for their packages, instead of the by metre charges. For instance, for the first hour of your journey, the rate would be around Rs. 190 for an Indica. Take note that this charge or rate is only for travel within the city. If you're travelling on the outskirts or in the airport area, it's at Rs. 400 for the first 30 kilometres for an Indica. These rates are not affected by peak hours too, unlike known cab companies like Uber and Ola Cabs. You can book any of their cabs from their website, contact them through their head office or the number given below.
    • Address - Best Cabs, Plot No. 96-97, Venkateswara Enclave, Opposite Priyadarshini Hotel, Suchitra, Quthbullapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500055, India

    2. Airport Cabs Hyderabad - If you're coming in from the airport, chances are, you're more likely to hire a taxi stationed at the airport premises. If you do, try out the services of Airport Cabs Hyderabad, which primarily serves passengers coming in from the airport. Their best feature is that they charge only for a one-way trip, unlike other cab companies where you'd end up paying for a two-way trip despite utilising only one part of the route. Aside from airport and within the city routes, they also have outstation routes into places located on the outskirts of the city like Chittoor, Vijayawada, Srisailam, Araku Valley and many more. All their cabs have air-conditioning and you can choose from three types: Indica, Verito or Indigo and Tavera or Innova. For their smallest cab, the Indica, they have prefixed packages as well, Rs. 249 for the first hour (15 kilometres), Rs. 299 for the first two hours (20 kilometres), Rs. 449 for the first three hours (30 kilometres) and so on. You would need to add in Rs. 10 for each extra kilometre that the driver goes through, beyond the agreed upon package. For those coming in or going to the airport, charges are prefixed too, between Rs. 450 to Rs. 600, for the Indica only, depending on which part of Hyderabad you're going to or you're from. For outstation or outside of the city limits trips, aside from the minimum charge of Rs. 2,000 for the first 250 kilometres (Indica), you also need to pay the driver's allowance. You can reach the cab company's website for further information or contact them through the number given below.

    3. Sky City Cabs - Next we have Sky City Cabs, another Hyderabad-based cab company. If you need a cab in the wee hours of the morning or evening, Sky City Cabs can cater to you. They have a 24/7 customer service which means you can book a cab from them anytime of the day or night. They also operate all days of the week so you can utilise their services whether it's a weekday or a weekend. Much like other cab companies, they also have fixed packages for within city transfers. You can choose from their three cabs, Indica, Indigo and Innova. The cheapest is of course, the Indica, with a fixed rate of Rs. 240 for the first 15 kilometres. If you want a more luxurious journey, their Indigo is a good option, at Rs. 340 for the first 15 kilometres. If you're travelling with lots of luggages with you, you can opt for the Innova, with a fixed rate of Rs. 400 for the first 15 kilometres. If you go beyond the packages agreed upon, you need to pay a per kilometre charge, Rs. 10 for the Indica, Rs. 15 for the Indigo and Rs. 18 for the Innova. For outside of the city limits journeys, there are fixed charges for the first 250 kilometres, Rs. 2,000 (Indica), Rs. 2,250 (Indigo) and Rs. 3,250 (Innova). Again, the driver allowance of Rs. 300 is not yet included in these outstation charges. You can check out their website for more information or contact them through the number given below.

    4. Red Cabs - Red Cabs operates between the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. This cab company was founded in 2014 and has over 100 cabs in their fleet. One of their best features is that they have a predated taxi service, wherein you can order for a taxi service a few hours or days prior to your schedule. They even have a call out feature, so that passengers can be informed as to when their taxi will arrive in the pickup location. They also have prefixed packages, for within the city transfers, airport transfers and outstation transfers. For solo travellers, the Indica is a good option, its rates are the lowest and suitable enough for short journeys. For the first 15 kilometres, the fare is at Rs. 240, for the first 20 kilometres, the fare is at Rs. 340, and so on. They also have bigger cabs like the Indigo and Tavera, for those travelling with larger groups. For airport charges, they range between Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 for a one-way trip. Last, for an outstation trip, within 250 kilometres in an Indica, the rate is just the same as the previous cab companies, Rs. 2,000 with a driver's allowance of Rs. 300. You can reach their website for further information about their tariffs or contact them through the number below for booking proper.

Thus, you won't need to input your information over and over again, saving you precious time. They also have under an hour tariffs for within the city, that only a few cab companies offer. So if you have short-distance travels from point to point, you can opt for their 10-kilometre package, with prices of Rs. 190 for an Indica, Rs. 250 for an Indigo and Rs. 300 for an Innova. Thereafter, rates are almost the same as other cab companies mentioned above. They do have more affordable outstation rates at Rs. 2,100 (Indica), Rs. 2,400 (Indigo) and Rs. 3,600 (Innova) for the first 300 kilometres. Conclusion

Travelling to Hyderabad and worrying about your point to point transfers? You can contact any of these cab companies which can handle all your transportation worries. Further, they also have outstation transfers so you won't need to contact another cab company from a different city for that. Of course, you can also avail of the services of other cab companies like Uber and Ola Cabs, but their cabs are largely affected by surge pricing during peak hours. By utilising the services of these smaller companies, you are also helping such industries to thrive and survive amidst larger cab companies in the city.

    I hope this helps you!:)
