Hello there, welcome to the forum!

Citizens of India don't require a visa when visiting Hong Kong. Indian nationals are entitled to a visa-free stay, for up to 14 days, when visiting Hong Kong. You only need your Indian passport and it would be stamped on your arrival in Hong Kong. Make sure that your passport has at least 6 months of validity or even more. There are no fees as well for this stamp that you would get once you arrive in Hong Kong. Just make sure that you prepare the following documents to ensure that you gain entry to the country:

Requirements for Visa-Free Entry in Hong Kong (for Indians)
    • Return air ticket
    • Itinerary for your visit to Hong Kong
    • Confirmed hotel booking proof
    • Sufficient funds for your trip (credit card or cash)
    • Passport with at least 6 months of validity and 2 blank pages
If ever your stay in Hong Kong is longer than 14 days, then that's the time that you would need to apply for a Hong Kong tourist visa (L). The process is fairly simple though as long as you bring all the required documents. Here are the documents that you need for applying for a Hong Kong tourist visa:

Requirements for Hong Kong Tourist Visa (L) for Indians (Staying 14 Days & Above)
    • Duly completed visa application form
    • Two recent photographs (48 mm x 33 mm)
    • Photocopy of passport, first and last page
    • Financial statements (bank statements and tax receipts)
    • Proof of employment (payment slips or employment contract)
    • Cover letter along with itinerary or transportation arrangements
Procedures for Applying for Hong Kong Tourist Visa from India
    • Download the application form, print it and complete it. Make sure that you provide all the necessary information asked from you.
    • Once done with the application, you can set an appointment with the nearest Chinese Visa Application Service Center to you. You need to contact the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Delhi prior reaching the place as you would be subjected to a longer waiting time if not. I would give the contact details of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center below.
    • After the Chinese Visa Application Service Center approves your schedule, you can then reach the office and get a token number. Wait for your number to be called so that you can submit the documents required above. Make sure that you bring at least one photocopy of each document.
    • You would also be required to pay the visa and service fees. For a single-entry tourist visa, you would need to pay Rs. 3,900 plus a service fee of Rs. 1,087. After verification of your documents and after payment, you would receive a pick-up form that you need to keep in order to receive your Hong Kong tourist visa.
    • You can also track your visa application through this website. Just input your pick-up form number and contact number.
    • Once you are contacted about the approval of your visa application, you can reach the application centre and pick it up. Just show your pick-up form and an identification proof.
Information About Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Delhi

    • Contact Number - +91 11410 95601

The rules as of today have changed with regards to Indians visiting Hong Kong on December 12 2016. Indians will now be required to make a pre-arrival visa registration by fulfilling the necessary immigration requirements. If approved the applicant will be able to make multiple visits to Hong Kong with stay up to 14 days for a period of six months or until the validity of his/her passport(whichever is earlier). If registration is denied then the applicant needs to apply to the Immigration Department directly for an entry visa if they intend to visit Hong Kong.
