As I have already posted a query of how many states are in India for my essay, I would like to post another query as I feel that I will get a good response from the site with correct information. So my next question: In India how many states share the coastline?
Thank you for posting this question here but I do not understand what stops you from looking at the political map of India instead of making this huge effort of posting this questions here From what I see, theres only 5-6 Northern states that are land locked.
The total coastline of India measures about 7,517 km, which is distributed among nine coastal states and four Union Territories; and almost entire coast of India falls within tropics.
