I am thinking of making a trip to Khajuraho and Orchha, till now what I have planned is:
Arrive by train from Delhi on Sunday morning and spend 2 days on Khajuraho temples tour, after that will proceed to Orchha by train and stay in Orchha for 2 nights and 3 days.

    Now, here are my questions:
Do you think two days in Khajuraho and 3 days in Orchha are enough?
A inexpensive and comfortable place to stay in Khajuraho.
Monuments and Temples in Khajuraho and Orchha are open seven days a week or not?
Is it wise to travel from Khajuraho to Orchha by train or do you suggest any other mode of transport?

I am not in a mood to rush and miss any attractions so please let me know if I need to increase my trip time.

As you have said that you are in no rush, then I would suggest you increase your stay in Khajuraho and make it three days instead of two.
For accommodation I need some idea on what you are able to spend per night.
Temples are open seven days a week and I am not sure about monuments.
You can travel from Khajuraho to Orchha by train but I think traveling by car would be better and it is only a three hour drive which isn't so bad.
